1-Tampers: Used in confined area, there Major equipment can not be used,confined area means where large equipment can't work , that time we compact the soil with help of tamper.
For example Trenches Bottom, Bridge abutment portion etc.
2-Plan roller:it is also know as smooth well roller, when we want to compaction of road hard granular soil that time we used plan roller,mostly used for granular soil
For Example: Sand gravel etc
It provide smooth finish surface.
3-Pneumatic tyres roller: Used for application of pressure (rubber tyre), Used for both cohesive and non cohesive soil
4-sheep foat Roller : roller are designed by considering kneding action
It is provided with rubber scrut which applies pressure effectively,mostly used for clayey soil
5 -Vibrator: Most useful for Granular soil ( sandy or non-cohesive soil)vibration are applied to generate downward movement of particle. it is of two type
a) Needle vibrator.
b)surface plate vibrator.
